MART REPORT

Sheep Sale – Wednesday April 12th 2023

We had a smaller number of sheep on offer at our weekly Sale of Lambs and Cast Ewes. Prices for finished Hoggets peaked at €168. The tops for Stag Ewes fetched €200.

Please note all sheep must be tagged with a full yellow EID Tag set.  Next Sale of Lambs and cast Ewes is Wednesday April 19th @ 11 a.m.

Yard opens at 8 a.m. All stock must be penned by 10 a.m. Sale can be viewed live on www.livestock-live.com.

Cast Ewes:  Made from €75 to €200 per lot.

Ewe with two lambs at foot: Made up to €260

Ewe with one lamb at foot: Made up to €190
