MART REPORT

Sheep Sale – Wednesday February 1st 2023

We had a smaller number of sheep on offer at our weekly Sale of Lambs and Cast Ewes. Prices for finished Hoggets peaked at €146. The tops for Stag Ewes fetched €155. We had a Special Entry of In-lamb Ewes. Prices ranged from €160 to €170

Please note all sheep must be tagged with a full yellow EID Tag set.  Next Sale of Lambs and cast Ewes is Wednesday Feb 8th @ 11 a.m.  Sheep Scanning service commencing Wednesday next from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Yard open at 8 a.m. All stock must be penned by 10 a.m. Sale can be viewed live on www.livestock-live.com.

Finished Hoggets:

56 kgs €146, 52.5kgs €146, 51.4kgs €146, 52kgs €144, 50.2kgs €142, 50.1kgs €140,48.6kgs €137.

Cast Ewes:  Made from €51 to €155 per lot.

In Lamb Ewes: Made from €160 up to €170
